Logo & Symbolism

The logo of Malaysia Darts Association (MDA) features two regal tigers holding darts, symbolizing Malaysian courage, strength, and nobility. They support a central shield displaying the crescent and federal star, representing the unity of Malaysia’s states under the national federation. The tigers serve as custodians of truth, respect, and patriotism—values upheld by the leadership and members of the association. The stylized acronym “MDA” appears below the shield, with the letter D highlighted in red to emphasize the sport of darts. A ribbon-like ellipse containing the word “Malaysia” forms the shape of a dartboard, symbolizing focus, passion, and the pursuit of excellence in the sport.

National Spirit & Colours

The slogan beneath the logo is inspired by a line from Malaysia’s national anthem, Negaraku, reflecting a sense of national pride and responsibility in representing the country through the sport of darts. It embodies determination, unity, and a strong spirit to compete for the glory of Malaysia. The colours used in the logo are a refined interpretation of Malaysia’s national colours. Prussian Blue and Blood Red symbolize dignity and strength, while Silvery Sky Blue draws inspiration from Malaysia’s heritage weapon, the Keris, and also represents tungsten—the metal commonly used in the making of darts.
